The time has come to ban Bloodbraid Elf. We believe that this card is severely overpowered, and that banning this card will do 3 things to greatly benefit the magic community:

1) Create a healthy metagame.
2) Return FNM to it's casual atmosphere so Magic can continue to cultivate new players.
3) Give the Jund deck a more exploitable weakness.

Furthermore, we believe it is Wizards' obligation to create a balanced metagame where the cards in the format do not all point toward one singular viable strategy, and where multiple decks can flourish.
