NBA commissioner David Stern

it has come to the attention of me, and fellow Americans that recently Josh Howard of the Dallas Mavericks made statements disregarding the National Anthem of this country - which men have so bravely died protecting.
This adds to countless other offenses' by Mr.Howard, including admitting Pot use which is illegal in the USA,and drag racing at 94MPH in a 55 MPH zone.

He is a disgrace to the National Basketball Association, and we believe that he should either be suspended of banned altogether from the NBA - as anyone who does not respect the laws of this country, the safety of other people for the common good, and our National Anthem does not deserve a job in one of sports that was created in this great country.
