Brackenwood Noise Petition

Homeowners of the Brackenwood Community in Rockledge, FL continue to experience excessive noise levels as a result of the tire recycling process at the Liberty Tire Recycling facility, located at 270 Barnes Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955. Numerous complaints have been logged with the Rockledge City Police about excessive noise between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. In accordance with Rockledge City Noise Ordinance sections 12-6 and 12-7(1)&(2e) which directs commercial establishments to keep the noise decibel levels at or below 65 dba and prohibits the use of motorized equipment in excess of 10,000 pounds between the hours of 10pm - 6am during the weekday and 9pm - 9am during the weekend, we demand that Liberty Tire Recycling adhere to the ordinance immediately. We also request that Rockledge City Zoning and Planning and the Rockledge City Police act immediately to enforce the city noise ordinance.
