Get Buford Pusser's legend taught in schools

This is a petition to get the legend of sheriff Buford Pusser taught in schools to children.





Buford Pusser is a famous lawman from Mcnairy county Tennessee but sadly many youth in America have never heard of him or his legacy and the good he done by standing up to corruption and cleaning up that county. Too many people tend to think he was little more than a tough redneck sheriff that would beat you with a large stick if you looked at him wrong. Not true he was actually kind,gentle,and caring. Too many people say..Well he broke the law with that stick..I say wouldn't you get just as tough if thugs hunted you down and brutally killed your wife.. We must teach his legacy to children so they will no longer be misinformed by their parents or the movies. If we teach his legend in schools it will further better this country.
