New York State Lengthened or Year Round Coyote Hunting Season

To:  New York State Department of Environmental Conservation

We the residents, hunters and trappers of New York State feel that with the great increase in the coyote population which has brought about new studies of their population (http://www.esf.edu/efb/frair/) by the DEC and recent articles in the media that deal with aggressive coyotes against humans and their pets, it is time to reconsider the coyote hunting season in New York State to help control the rising population of coyotes.

We the undersigned residents, hunters and trappers of New York State, in this petition here by express our desire for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to consider either an lengthened or year round hunting/trapping season of Coyotes in New York State.
