To ABC-TV (Daytime):

For many devoted Port Charles fans, such as myself, the reruns on SoapNet are a cherished, poignant reminder of Port Charles greatness. The brilliant acting, unforgettable characters, innovative storylines, witty dialogue, beautiful camera work, and evocative music combined to create a daytime drama without compare. Canceling Port Charles was a terrible mistake. Since there do not seem to be any plans to continue the series in the future, the least ABC-TV could do to rectify the cancellation would be to allow SoapNet to show all of the Port Charles episodes, including the segments and or episodes which were taped but never aired because of ABC TVs apparent rush to terminate the series at a set date. (Among the scenes reported to have been scrapped were ones featuring Calebs encounter with his father in Hell and the brief reappearance of Father Michael towards the end of The Gift.) We also urge ABC-TV to make available for purchase DVD sets of all Port Charles episodes, from the beginning to the end, including the deleted segments.
