RESOURCE EQUALITY NOW!

We demand fair and equitable distribution of health resources for all Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied (LGBTQA) people throughout Chicago!

• Many LGBTQA people, especially LGBTQA people of color, Trans people, LGBTQA young people, and LGBTQA people on the South and West Sides of Chicago do not have access to HIV/AIDS prevention resources in our communities.
• According to the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), 74.6\% of all people diagnosed with HIV in Chicago are people of color, and many new HIV cases occur in young people.
• The proposed CDPH budget does not adequately support HIV/AIDS prevention resources throughout Chicago for all LGBTQA people, people of color, and members of other marginalized communities.

We call on CDPH leaders to meet with Gender JUST about implementing a fair and equitable distribution plan for HIV/AIDS prevention funding throughout Chicago!
