We need to reinstate corporal punishment in Indianas public schools! It was used frequently in my schools growing up and it proved to be a very effective deterrent to misbehavior. It was never used excessively and it was applied in a fair way.

Paddling in school is a tangible consequence which makes a student think twice before breaking a rule. We wonder why we have so many crimes taking place in our country. What kind of lesson are we teaching children when we provide no discipline or structure to guide them?

Discipline practices at our schools must improve!!!
