HP G60 and Compaq CQ60 Laptop LCD Defects- HP failing to honor warranty

The Hewlett Packard Company of Palo Alto, California is automatically rejecting consumer warranty claims regarding HP G60 and Compaq CQ60 laptop LCD screens, rubber stamping every case as "Customer Accidental Damage" . The LCD screens break without warning during the simplest events that laptop LCD screens should normally be expected to endure without incident. This particular LCD screen cracks internally during such events as opening/closing the screen lid, variance of ambient temperature, the slightest vibration or bump to the product and some cases of the screen simply cracking while unused and unmoved. It is quite obvious that HP has used an inferior grade LCD screen on this product and it's consumers are being made to pay the price. We, the consumers who purchased this product and also products which use the same LCD screen family, demand relief for this company's failure to acknowledge this issue as the product defect that it is and to cover it accordingly under the HP/Compaq One-Year Limited Warranty. Furthermore, HP should reimburse all warranty holders who were denied warranty service for the above issue and paid to repair the product at their own expense. Should Hewlett Packard fail to acknowledge and resolve our complaint, the number of petitioners may be used to determine the feasibility of forming a "Class" and subsequently suing HP for damages in a Civil Class-Action.
