Christy to Become New Hallmark Production

We, the fans of "Christy", the classic novel by Catherine Marshall, the award-winning CBS series based on it, and the recently produced movies/miniseries “Return to Cutter Gap,” and “Choices of the Heart I & II,” call upon the Hallmark Channel U.S. to become the new producers of a new generation of programming based on Christy.

We believe that the story is not yet over, and that as a result of the six hours developed for the PAX/Hallmark movies, Catherine Marshall's characters have been given new life and the potential for exciting new storylines that could be presented in further movies, holiday specials or even a new weekly television series.

As a successful producer of miniseries based on classic works of literature and period pieces in a genre similar to that of "Christy," The Hallmark Channel U.S. has the talent, reputation and experience to give the next generation of "Christy" viewers the very best.

All of the undersigned agree and would watch "Christy" on Hallmark and encourage their friends, family and associates to do the same.
