This is a petition pertaining to the inadequate service that Cingular Wireless has offered its customers, especially in the State of California. While continuing to expand and splurge on their over-heightened marketing strategies, little effort is being done to complement the huge increase of customers on the cell-phone network. There are no signs of extra operational devices, such as signaling sattelites, antennae towers, and central networking stations going into effect. Their campaign of "free nights and weekends" is quickly turning into "system busy/no service" on "free nights and weekends".

We, the payings citizens of not just California, but ALL paying customers of Cingular Wireless demand a service that works. We are shelling out money for a half-assed service, when this money could be spent on another wireless service provider that has more optimal service and reception. Please listen to the voice of your customers!
