Myron Cope Bridge |
To: City of PittsburghMyron Cope was a great sports broadcaster and an icon in Pittsburgh. Thousands of Steeler fans would turn down their television volume and turn up their radio just to hear Myron Cope announce the game. He will greatly be missed and always loved. His spirit will live on by the hundreds and thousands of Steeler fans who wave terrible towels at the game, hang them up in their houses, mutter the words "Double yoi" at a horrible or amazing play, and so on. Many other great Pittsburgh heroes have a bridge named after him, and he deserves one too. Please sign this petition in honor of Myron Cope!
Sincerely,
