Honda Drive By Wire Amendment

Dear Honda Motor Co.,

By signing this document, I am in support of a complete and proper amendment to the DBW (drive by wire) system in the 2006+ Honda Civic models (in particular the Si versions) for both Canada and the United States. The current negative attributes include significant "rev-holding" after releasing the throttle and a delay from throttle inputs. The service bulletin posted for the Si model served to slightly improve these issues, but it fails to eradicate them. The effects of this update still cause significant rev-holding between 3000RPM and 6000RPM. Although it is understood that your intention in programming this rev-holding is to improve tailpipe emissions, such drastic lag and rev-holding is unacceptable when compared to many other successful DBW applications.
