Subject : - Stop Releasing the Deer of deer breading centre (D.B.C) in to the forest.





At the pal wild life sanctuary .There is a D.B.C for the treatment and taking care for the deer’s. This deer breading centre is register under the (C.Z.A) central zoo authority as a mini zoo .In the certificate of the C.Z.A; they had specified it as an orphanage also.





The wild life Dept in not further interested in preceding the work of the centre any more. The centre holds endangered species of deer (black bug).the centre is in its worst condition. So they started releasing the deer’s in forest. Few month’s ago the wild life dept left nearly about 18 deer’s in the forest with 22 remaining at the centre. And were planning to release remaining during rainy season. The deer’s were so habitual to the humans that they used to return at the fencing of the centre.


After being for long time at the deer breading centre, they had become unaware about their enemies. Due to which they became easy prey for the other animals. . They don’t have knowledge when they should run for their lives. They had lost their wildness. As they were in close contact with humans at the centre they used to come near human’s and were killed brutally by tribal communities of the forest.





What wild life dept says about this?


1) They don’t have enough funds to continue the work further.


2) They had got orders from the C.Z.A to close the deer breading centre.





Fact’s behind its cause------


1) The dept had not considered the D.B.C in the 10 yrs management plan. Due which they are facing lack of fund for it.


2) C.Z.A. had sent them notice to complete the requirements specify by them, and were given the span of 1 yr to complete the norms. But the wild life dept fail to complete the requirement. That’s why orders were sent by C.Z.A. to close it.





What do we want? ----------


The govt should have pity towards deer. The deer’s should be feed at the centre only.


The dept should think about the lives of the poor deer. If they are released they won’t sustain.


Govt should create fund for their care. The centre requires only 6 thousand monthly to work efficiently. Govt can afford for such a small amount.


If the govt can’t take care of them, then it should allow some private trust to take initiatives of the deer breading centre.
