Air Democracy Now! on Vermont Public Radio

We the undersigned Vermont Public Radio (VPR) listeners, members, and supporters request that VPR broadcast the award winning news program, Democracy Now!. Airing Democracy Now! will contribute to the fulfillment of VPR’s stated mission: "to extend our involvement in contemporary affairs through programs that place in context the events of today, the past and present from which they spring, and the impact they have on the lives of Vermonters, both now and in the future."

Nationwide, over 120 stations, including numerous National Public Radio affiliates, have expanded their listener base and membership by carrying Democracy Now!. We are confident that Democracy Now! will similarly increase Vermont Public Radio’s audience and membership, while enhancing its reputation as a forum for a diverse range of views and voices.
