We the undersigned fans of Days Of Our Lives would like to see some new life pumped into our favorite daytime drama. For too long stale storylines, stagnant plots and completely unbelievable relationships have plagued this once powerhouse show.

To that end we would like to make the following suggestion:
It was a long standing plotline on the hit TV show Friends that Joey (Matt LeBlanc) portrayed Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days Of Our Lives. To that end we would like to request that Days actually create the character of Dr. Drake Ramoray and persuade Matt LeBlanc to portray the character.

We feel it would bring a fresh comic relief to the show, in much the same way Calliope and Eugene did back in the late 80s.

The appearance of Dr. Drake would also attract a large section of the enormous Friends fan base. In fan poll after fan poll, when asked which episodes were their favorite, in almost every case, an episode where Joey mentioned being Dr. Drake or appeared as Dr. Drake ranked in the top 10. It should also be noted, in the Best of Friends DVD series, the Fan Favorites DVD includes not 1 but 2 episodes that included Joey as Dr. Drake.
We realize Mr. LeBlanc may have previous commitments, but feel if he were offered the chance to be on the show he would agree since his last attempt at a TV series did not pan out.

Please give this suggestion your full consideration, as we are confident it would be one of the biggest television events in daytime history.
