Mighty Mouse On DVD

This petition is to get Mighty Mouse cartoons released on DVD. Mighty Mouse’s first cartoons were theatrical cartoons – first appearing as Super Mouse in The Mouse of Tomorrow(1942). Like many other characters from this era, Mighty Mouse moved into television and was featured in many shows and syndication packages over the years. In fact, Mighty Mouse was the first cartoon character ever to appear on Saturday Mornings - "The Mighty Mouse Playhouse" aired on CBS on December 10th, 1955.

There have been several series of Mighty Mouse cartoons shown on television - ranging from the original theatrical shorts to the Ralph Bakshi/John Kricfalusi series of the late 80's. Despite the quantity of Mighty Mouse cartoons available - Mighty Mouse hasn’t been seen on television in several years (except for in a commercial or two).

We, the undersigned would like to support a DVD release of Mighty Mouse cartoons - preferably in chronological order with the audio and video presented at the highest level of quality possible. 2002 will mark Mighty Mouse's 60th Anniversary - wouldn't it be nice to celebrate it with a series of DVDs?

The home video rights for Mighty Mouse apparently aren't clear, so this petition will be sent to several likely stakeholders.
