Release Dennis Wilson's Back Catalogue

We, the undersigned, agree that the status of Dennis Wilson’s back catalogue is way overdue for release. It's time for a skilled engineer ( .. preferably Mark Linett) to go back to the original master tapes and give Dennis’ fans what we have been crying out for .. a thorough sonic-overhaul and release of Dennis Wilson’s back catalogue, both released and unreleased.

All songs, whether they're in mono or stereo, should come from the first-generation tapes. Dennis deserves no less.

We, the undersigned, have for years hungrily bought any Beach Boy’s reissue that contained the merest snippet of an unreleased Dennis Wilson track. Often, these tracks formed the highlight of that particular reissue. In view of this, we would like ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’ released and what was on the original LP replicated, plus new liner notes, pictures; etc., preferably by Alan Boyd. We also understand that Dennis has a huge archive of unreleased material stockpiled and given that this may be our “golden opportunity”, we would really like Dennis’s career in song presented in the form of a multi-cd boxset.

The bottom line is that the music of Dennis Wilson has been out of print for 15 years now .. something needs to be done about that situation quickly.

Dennis Wilson was the “Beach” in the Beach Boys.
