Dear Gov. Dean:

The Dean community in Iowa and the members of Democracy for Iowa would like to ask you to return to Iowa before the election on November 2.

We realize that you are overbooked and busy on the campaign trail, but we, your supporters in Iowa, are the people who gave you our hearts, our minds and our souls for two years, and during those two years, we put our real lives on hold to work for you.

We are exhausted and tapped out. We feel that a visit from the man who is our inspiration would help energize the Dean supporters in Iowa to work on the state and local campaigns. Many of our fine, fellow Deaniacs have dropped out of sight completely. A visit from you would likely bring them back into the picture when we need them the most, in these crucial final days before the election.

Please consider coming back to Iowa. We miss you.
