We, the undersigned, feel that the critically praised FX series "Dirt" deserves another season, possibly more.

The Nielsen system is outdated, and does not fairly represent the amount of people watching. Especially since living in a time where people download, DVR, TiVo, and watch encore performances. 2008 and 2009 as seen the death of too many quality television programs.

Please have faith in the show, FX. Shows like "Rescue Me" and "Nip/Tuck" both started off low, but improved over the course of a few seasons. Perhaps you'll have the same success with "Dirt".

FX has always been praised about their edgy programming. Programming that pushes boundaries for network television. With all the being said, "Dirt" is a perfect candidate for FX because of all the sex, violence, nudity and human drama. If you're a fan of the show, please sign this petition to help convince FX not to cancel it.
