Request for the removal of Cheeze from the DC staff

We, the people of the dragcave.net forums would like to formally request that the moderator known as Cheeze be removed from his position of authority as of February 7th 2009. His inflammatory statements have been most unbecoming of a moderator on any forum. No one in a position of power should ever speak discriminatory things about a minority, and in a recent topic about gay rights Cheeze demonstrated his utter lack or regard for the sensibilities of the homosexual members of the board.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but as a moderator and a person with the responsibility to set an example within our community, Cheeze has proven his inability to remain impartial. His comments damage not only the reputation of the moderators on the forums, but they alienate members of the community who feel attacked by his statements. It is an affront to our rights as members of the board to not feel harassed by those in positions of authority.

It isn't possible to get far in the world if you refuse to respect others. Treat others kindly, don't insult them, and others will do the same in return. If you refuse to treat others well, then you will get not only a warning, but a bad reputation, which opens the door for more negativity."


For a forum member to break this rule is to drag down their reputation. For a forum moderator to do so, however is to drag down the reputation of the entire forum.


We do humbly request the immediate removal of Cheeze from the DC staff.
