Stop Horse Slaughter- a Equine Angels/Dream Away campaign

To:  US and State Congress - and Horse Slaughter Houses (BEL TEX,, DALLAS CROWN , CAVEL INTERNATIONAL )

Please help support our horses by supporting "Equine Angels". By signing this petition, you are joining others who agree that Horse Slaughter MUST BE STOPPED! California has already passed a law making it illegal and EVERY OTHER STATE CAN TOO! All we need is your help. Please tell everyone you know about this petition and have them sign it as well!

Petition states:

We, the undersigned herein, request that Congress in both the United States and in every State of the Union, adopt a policy and law such as california's "Proposition 6", a state initiative to prohibit horse slaughter for human consumption, punishable as a felony. We also request that such legislation have no bearing on the taxation or licensing of horses. Our cause is simple: to STOP the slaughter of horses for human consumption being exoprted to other companies such as these companies do:

BEL TEX Fort Worth Texas
DALLAS CROWN Kaufman Texas
CAVEL INTERNATIONAL DeKalb Illinois

It is in our opinion as citizens and free-speaking people of the United States of America that these acts should be stopped and that legislation should be passed making it illegal.
