To Government of Canada, Provinces - Ministry of Environment, Municipalities.


We undersigned support keeping of harmless exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, invertebrates, small mammals and ornamental fish, living in Alternative Environment, which is Domestic, ZOO and Aquarium settings. We do not support keeping those species of which there is scientific or statistic proof, that they are a danger to public.


We strongly oppose Laws, Bylaws and other Restrictions that contravene Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which are legislated out of limitation of Council authority to legislate. Also those Bylaws and restrictions, which were/are legislated based on false, misleading information of so called Animal Rights Extremists and not on facts, statistics or findings of Scientists or animal keepers. We believe strongly that public if educated properly, is smart enough to make their own decisions to decide what kind of animal they will love or keep as pet.


We oppose restrictions on Educational Presentations, which include exotic pets. We understand, that those activists, which are calling for banning on educational presentations are doing so to create misinformation of public, including children, which produce misunderstanding, resulting in unreasonable fear of virtually harmless animals.


We oppose outlawing keeping of exotic animals, because we realize that it will lead to death and extinction of thousands virtually harmless pets, striving in Alternative Environment.
