Don't change the F1 championship scoring policy

The FIA are making unneccesary changes to the way F1 is run, without considering the people who matter...the fans. Two weeks before the start of the 2009 season they changed the whole profile of the Championship by announcing that the driver with most wins will be World Champion. In short, if you haven't regularly got the best car on the track, you will never be world champion.

The rule changes promised to deliver one of the most exciting seasons in recent history, but now we are faced with yet another great spectical cut short by the tinkering of the FIA.

The new rules give an incentive to fight for 1st place, but also take away the incentive to fight for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on, so for the teams who don't have race winning cars, what is there to race for?

Please sign this petition to show your disapproval of the new FIA Championship policy. Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
