Request to review F1 2010 World Championship Entry Regulations |
To: FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile)To: FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile)
We the undersigned implore the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, to retract the recently set conditions of application to enter the 2010 Formula One World Championship; including but not limited to the Manufacturer's £40 Million budget cap set.
Secondly, the undersigned request that an extension for the deadline to apply to the World Championship be set, to allow further discussion and mediation between ALL current Manufacturers/Teams, with the aspiration to achieve some compromise with regards to the aforementioned conditions of entry.
The sport's reputation and long term future is seemingly in danger when considering the potential loss of the major teams who are currently unsatisfied with the regulations that have been imposed.
Formula One's worldwide support will be heavily affected if these losses occur. Formula One, currently the pinnacle of motorsport, should not invest in a future which would heavily compromise it's sublime history.
For the sake of all the disillusioned fans and supporters worldwide, please review the decisions made, to restore faith in a fantastic sport.
Sincerely,
