Get Alan Rickman to Lose Weight For the Role of Professor Severus Snape

We want Alan Rickman to lose weight for the role of Severus Snape in the forthcoming Harry Potter movies.
The Professor is angular, spidery and very thin, whereas Mr. Sidney Patrick Rickman has been getting a bit corpulent in his older age. This is not some opprobrious shallow attack on his appearance; we love him, his acting finesse and most certainly his mellifluous baritone. But because of the films, people - especially young children - are going to identify him with Snape.
In consequence, it would be more apt in regards to the character, more appealing to us [his loyal viewers] and more salubrious for he himself if he were to cut down on the pies.
Think the Chamber of Secrets figure.
