To Raise the Standards, We Must Change the Standards |
To: Ohio Senator Kevin CoughlinWe the undersigned residents of Ohio hereby request that the Ohio Administrative Code for Adult Residential Care Communities be updated immediately to include specific requirements for exercise and Fall Prevention programs such as those created by Linda Thurston with The Senior Fitness Movement.
We feel that the present Administrative code is outdated and has neglected to address the importance of physical fitness and fall prevention programs for those living in Adult Residential Care Communities.
We agree that physical exercise is beneficial at any age and that our friends living in Ohio's Adult Residential Care Communities deserve the same opportunities as those who can travel to health clubs and fitness centers.
Sincerely,
The To Raise the Standards, We Must Change the Standards Petition to Ohio Senator Kevin Coughlin was created by and written by Linda Thurston (lindathurston@theseniorfitnessmovement.com).
