SI' Football Manager on Linux |
To: Sports InteractiveFootball Manger is recognized as one of (if not THE) best football management simulation games on the planet.
Unfortunately, it is still not compatible with the fast growing Linux Operating System.
Although there are "unofficial" alternatives available - which involve running the game under Wine - the creation of a Linux edition of the game would benefit a large community of users throughout the World. There are also claims that Football Manager runs faster in Linux.
The Linux community is increasing at a great speed. Several large corporations - such as Nvidia, ATI, Google or Asus - are increasing their support to Linux by creating drivers, products or software versions that embrace Linux.
Sports Interactive could be a pioneer in the gaming industry by releasing a Linux version of the most popular football manager game. Take SI to the next level: release a Linux version of Football Manager.Sincerely,
