To:  Prime Minister of India

His Excellency Dr. Manmohan Singh
Honorable Prime Minister of India
New Delhi, INDIA

First of, let me share with you utter shock, grief and profound sadness of Indians abroad at the loss of life and property of innocent residents of two of India's largest and most productive cities, Banglore and Ahmadabad.

Many years back while in New Delhi, the writer of this petition, recalls with horror the 1984 genocide of Sikhs. Huge columns of smoke were rising to heavens all over the my beloved Delhi. Following weeks, as I was asked by New Delhi Citizens Committee to go attend as a doctor to tens of thousands sheltered, not in a hospital, but in Gurudwaras of India’s capital, that was the only place the poor women, children and old men could find safe. The utter desolation and hopelessness in the faces of the survivors of the atrocities who had lost everything including their homes to the raging fires of hate and planned genocide. In 1998, they were still raping the nuns and burning the churches in Gujarat when we had to organize demonstrations against Vajpayee government in mid-town Manhattan as ‘People against Fascists’.

Alas a decade later things are worse in many states of India be it human rights or crimes against humanity. An therefore, this appeal to Sir by the undersigned.

Thousands of innocent Indians were murdered in broad day-light because they wore turbans and called themselves Sikhs, a right guaranteed in supreme law of the land. – the Indian constitution! 24 years later to this date, not even 24 mass-murderers of Sikhs have been brought to justice!

What an abiding shame!

Respected, I would say, worthy or Reverence, Dr. Singh! You are the most educated head of state in Indian history and perhaps anywhere in the contemporary world, today. You are no simple minded cowboy from Texas. Let us ask you the following question:

Why are those mass-murdering fires so easy to stoke in India?

And why programs of genocide are repeatedly visited upon the vulnerable innocent by the most powerful, albeit, wretched criminals?

Well, to this simple minded American, the answer is very simple.

Over last 10, 000 or so years of recorded history, the rationale for the existence and mission of any state has been the commitment to its laws! The laws that a state makes for itself. Irrespective of the process, whether democratic or autocratic. Or whether a state is a kingdom or welfare state, it has to have a minimum commitment to protect life, limb and property of those living within its domain, whether its citizens or passersby. If the state will not make that minimum commitment people will leave the state at the first opportunity or it will disintegrate into chaos. It was the law of jungle that prevailed when ancient Indian states were turning upon each-other and succumbing to more and more from across and farther away from the region until fully colonized. Not only the ancient India, the mighty Nazi Germany a model for Indian Fascists, collapsed; Saddam’s fascistic state and even the mighty USA can not afford the egregious violation of human rights as are tolerated in India under you, Sir. If the mass-murderer by likes of Modi, with aspirations of prime-ministership, comes to power, - India’s political economy is destined for dissipate.

What is the use of police, paramilitary forces and the detective agencies in India?
If the law of jungle has to prevail, why budget for police, CBI or CID or they too supposed to serve the criminals? Safety of ordinary citizens is heavily correlated with stability and thus predictability and growth in economy. Or else who will invest in a mafia run republic?

India is no banana-republic and we do not want it to turn into one. India's future is bright. But at 60, it has to open a new chapter in its history, not regress into barbarianism. The politics of mass-murder of innocent citizens which yields polarized votes as reward for the criminal-politicians as we have seen again and again since 1984 to 2002 has to be made a thing of remote past, - not a continuum into a civilized 21st century in a state with aspirations of a super-power.

More power to India but not over the dead bodies of Indians in their own streets.

India has to renew its commitment to its founding principles such as Justice!
We want Indian police to commit to Indian law and not be an instrument of repression or lap-dog of hyenas and jackals like Modi.

In 2008, the prevailing political uncertainty in New Delhi, has yet again presented an opportunity for mass-murderers of BJP, the party of wolves and hyenas. This party of murderers of Mahatma and vulnerable minorities since then, is ready to strike again: To exploit the conditions so that it can capture power at the center in no more than a year’s time!

BJP is ready and motivated enough to kill a few thousand innocent Indians toward that self-justified but seditious end. Mr. Prime Minister, Sir, as the Steward of Indian State, it is your solemn and primary duty to stop these mass-murdering RSS hyenas!

There is no greater purpose for the existence of any state or a democratically elected government than to protect its citizens from organized violence.

You are bright and intelligent man, a colleague of Nobel Laureate Amratya Sen, I had the good fortune to share early struggles against BJP while at Harvard. We would like to believe that you are qualitatively of very high ethical and intellectual caliber than an unscrupulous politician in India, today. Therefore, we urge you to rise to the occasion, and to your full stature of an elder statesman of India, that you are! You have to demolish the nexus between mass-murder and power-grab, once for all. Your own community has suffered so grievously from this criminal nexus. We would like to believe that you are in the class of the nation-builders like Nehru and Sardar Patel. Dear Sir, as an elder statesman it is your destiny to rescue India: Free Mother India from the Fascist Rapists!

The hyenas of seditious RSS and Bajrang Dal have targeted even the most vulnerable like children for rape, pillage and burning alive as they did to the thousands of Sikhs in New Delhi, your dear capital. They must be driven out of India, not the minorities they have been dreaming of throwing into the sea for last 60 years!

You owe it to the departed souls of thousands of innocent victims of politically motivated violence in India over last 60 years that these mad beasts be arrested, tried and stopped for ever. Made examples of not exemplars to be emulated. You have unprecedented resources of modern Indian state and a fully aware Indian populace and international community to back you up!

Rise and shine in your mission, Mr. Prime Minister, we are looking up to you to lead!

You will raise the stature of India as country, - with zero tolerance for politics of mass-murder that has no place in modern world. Even in USA, with a wave of post-911 Arab-phobia and a nadir in civil rights, not a single Arab experienced an act of violence, although, shamefully for us Americans a Sikh gentleman’s life was lost, but the killer could not escape.

Victims of Sikh Massacre and Gujarat Genocide still await the Justice!

We demand that you recommend to the President the dismissal of the fascistic, seditious governments of Gujarat, Karnataka and perhaps even Rajasthan who, many suspect, are following the Modi blue-print to power-grab. You must promulgate the President's Rule and investigate the conspiracy by Modi-RSS-BJP enterprise to further commit mass-murder as they succeeded in 2002. There is sufficient prima facie evidence in the public domain for you to act in India’s national interest and its credibility as a stable polity. All indications suggest the serial bombings are the desperate attempts by the Modi-RSS-BJP clique to create an environment and herald greater violence at genocidal scale to come like after Godhra (an RSS organized event) – no poor tea-hawker at a railway platform would dare to set fire to a compartment full of aggressive vandals!

No minority group in India shall dare to, even if they had resources available, plan and operationalize public crime at such a large scale. Recently, there was no great tension or major grievance that would have provoked Muslims in Rajasthan, Karnataka or Gujarat to get so desperate as to risk the well-being of their families or communities with such brazen and dastardly crimes. Only those will dare again who have successfully planned, carried-out and gotten away, - as in 2002 Genocide by Modi-RSS regime. In fact, they were encouraged being rewarded for their crimes against humanity with greater power and popularity in the polarized local communities. Only they could have the confidence and resources and plans for more mass-murder.

Only genocidal outfits like RSS and BJP could come up with the crimes-against-humanity, as they have shown time and again in 1984, 1991 and 2002. They have the resources, motivation, determination and the reward of more power waiting for them.

Mr. Prime Minister, do not let them get away this time or history will not forgive you!

You will be responsible for the next genocide in India and for putting the fascistic forces in power for foreseeable future and perhaps even turning India into a chaotic banana-republic with anemic economic growth once the stream of outsourcing dies down!

A man is known by the company he keeps. You have extraordinary intellects and noble friends like Prof. Amaratya Sen, a Nobel Laureate in political economy and you are an economist of repute yourself, - but history has put you in charge of setting India's political life on right course so that economy can continue to grow into future and investors in India and world over can continue to have confidence in India's economy.

Nobody in the world would be impressed by the efficiency of its mass-murdering politicians to grab power by pleasing the obscurantist hate-mongers amongst us!

Lately, enough cumulative evidence has surfaced in public domain against the modus operandi of fascistic outfits. Their mission of mass-murder has been well known. We urge you to ban fascistic RSS, Bajrang Dal and other extremist militias, - India has sufficient police and para-military forces, what is the rationale for these militaristic organizations?

Lastly, I hope I am wrong in all my assumption and worst fears.

Nevertheless, if there is a single Indian Muslim involved in a violent act against an innocent Indian, punish him to the fullest extent of the law and then give him to Indian Muslims they punish him again for being an enemy of country, the community and the humanity. But let me urge you not to destroy the confidence of young Indian Muslims in India by arresting thousands in these fascistic states run by hyenas of RSS-BJP on trumped-up charges when the actual perpetrators go scot-free as we have seen over the years...

More power to Khalsa to do the right thing…

Stop Modi to further his agenda of mass-murder and become the fascistic prime-minister!

Good luck to your government – five more years!

Long live Mother India!

Sincerely,

Wasim Khan

Sincerely,
