More Flame of Recca Anime

To:  Shogakukan and Shonen Sunday

One of the most popular questions asked of anime columnists in the United States is "When will there be another Rekka no Honoo/Flame of Recca anime season?".

When the 42 episodes produced by Studio Pierrot ended, the story unfortunately was not extremely popular. Since then, however, the fan following has been steadily increasing. The intense manga story-line by Nobuyuki Anzai continues to captivate readers, and newly compiled volumes regularly appear in the top 10 manga sales in Japan.

Fan lists and fan sites stemming from the anime series are increasing, as is demand for the animation cels. A new Gameboy Advance video game, based on the recent manga story-line, has been released. We, the undersigned, believe that the popularity has increased enough to warrant more anime. The manga currently has enough new story to warrant another season, as well.

Signers of this petition believe there should be more Rekka no Honoo/Flame of Recca anime, and fervently wish to see it.
