Make Forced Marriage A Criminal Offence

Forced marriage should be classified as a criminal offence.

It is an abuse of human rights and cannot be justified on any religious or cultural basis.

Every year 1000's of British Asians…. as young as 13 are being taken abroad and forced to marry against their will. Suicide, Honour Killing, Kidnapping, Emotional Blackmail, Physically Threatened, The fear of being cut of from their families are just some of what these British youngsters are having to deal with.

After all, why in the 21st century people are being treated like this? Help make a stand by signing this petition.

This is a violations of human rights which needs to be dealt with and should be made criminal offence for any parent to force their child into marriage.
