Free Ali Khan #3390 |
To: South Korean Ministry of JusticeSince 2003 Sadaquat Ali Khan (#3390) has been serving a life sentence in a South Korean prison. His confession, a product of torture and intimidation, as well as the mishandling of witnesses, evidence, translation, and legal representation are all indications that he did not receive a fair trial.
The crime for which he is imprisoned was later confessed to by a co-accused. This person has stated in writing that Sadaquat Ali Khan was not present or in any way involved in this crime, but rather the intended scapegoat. The Ministry of Justice and Korean authorities have refused to reopen the case despite this new information and allegations aforementioned.
We respectfully ask the South Korean Ministry of Justice to immediately reopen Sadaquat Ali Khan’s case and provide him a fair retrial.
Sincerely,
