When we heard the news of it going off air, we fought hard to keep the show on air, show the channel and the production how much we love the show and what the show means to us. We are extremely happy that the show is staying with us.

We want to make the show even more popular. There are many fans in India, outside India, who have just recently came across and fell in love with the show, are having to resort to youtube to catch up with the show. How convenient would it be if the channel/production house released sets of Geet DVDs?!?! This way, not only the fans get to have their own copies to watch as many times as they want, the show itself gets to earn money which they could use for the betterment of the show.

Not only that the show gets to earn money, the channel and the production house can also get an idea of the popularity of the show. This way, the channel and the production house is not just depended on TRPs to figure out whether the show is popular or not.

DVD could have special features such as making of a scene, bloopers, behind the scene of some of the most iconinc moments of the show, interviews with the actors etc.
