We, the undersigned United States citizens, do hereby petition President Obama, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate to immediately cease and desist from any new spending legislation including health care reform, carbon emission legislation, or any other legislation that will further increase the already astronomical debt that has been put into place with the 2008 T.A.R.P. and the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

We are appalled at the debt that has especially been accumulated in the last seven months since the Obama administration, House, and Senate have come into office along with the flooding of money printed by the Federal Reserve and the huge borrowing from China and other countries.

We, the undersigned American citizens do demand that congress propose legislation to curtail all further spending legislation until the current recession has been totally abated. This legislation needs to be proposed, discussed in committee(s), and passed during the next session that starts immediately after the August recess.

We will accept no less than this from you Mr. President, Congresspersons and Senators.
