Several recent news articles quote a Kimberly-Clark (K-C) spokesman as saying that Americans demand forest destruction for toilet paper, while simultaneously bragging that nearly half a million metric tons of deforestation is some sort of improvement in the company's practices. Write to K-C and let them know that you'll only use recycled products, like those found in our tissue guide, until K-C cleans up their act.(Green Peace website)
