Gays have rights to marry!

To:  Gay rights marrage Congress

Dear to all whom will be reading this,

Here in the state of Iowa they are trying to pass a law so gay couples are not allowed to get married. To me that is very stupid. It even states in the constitution that we are allowed to do what we choose as long as it doesn't cause any harm to others. I really don't think that marrying the same sex is harming anyone. I mean the only reason that law was put up was because it's not "socially" acceptable. People are just afraid of change. The same thing happened with the African Americans, except they had different skin color. If we don't put our words saying that we're against it, then it could be 20 years before gays can get that right to marry. It starts out as not allowing us to marry then what? We cant vote? Cant go to the same places as other people? I go to work every day I pay my tax I have the right to choose who I should marry guy or female. Please this is a cause that needs to be dealt with quickly. Thank you for your time.
