We the undersigned are admirers of Julie Andrews' multiple talents.

It is with great interest and pleasure that we read in the October 2008 Julie Andrews Collection newsletter that there may be a second tour of the Gift of Music in 2009.

Some of us were lucky enough to see you perform live this past summer. To see you on stage was terrific and to hear you singing brought tears of joy to many of us! It was much more than we expected! Others saw clips of the rehearsals and performances on the Internet. We were all very touched and happy at the news that you could sing again.

The reviews in the media as well as the different testimonies from fans who attended raised a lot of enthusiasm and envy, especially among those living outside of the United States who werent able to come to see you.

When we read the wonderful news about a second tour possibly overseas, a lot of members expressed their keen interest in going to see and hear you singing. Because of such enthusiasm, we decided to launch a petition to ask you to come and perform the Gift of Music in Europe and maybe other continents too.

With all our hearts we look forward to hearing you singing once more overseas.
