Give us Battlefield 3

To:  EA and DICE

For about a year and a half, online FPS-gamers on PC have been waiting for a new Battlefield release from EA and DICE. Recently they announced two more games, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and 1943.

1943 is the game they have released most info about. This is the multi-platform FPS game, which will completely destroy the whole Battlefield-feeling, ripping out it's heart and fun, and making it into a Call of Duty ripoff. No medic class, no support class, no healthmeter and unlimited ammo.

There has not been a lot info about Bad Company 2 yet, just that it's the sequel to Bad Company, obviously. Another arcade-console-translation for PC?

In October/November of 2007, a PDF was leaked out into the tubes. The fans was in ecstasy!
- Set in year modern day!
- Will ship with 8 maps, each supporting up to 40-players per team
- Two playable factions, NATO and MEC (Middle Eastern Coalition)
- Same “ticket-based” gameplay style as before
- Maps are mostly urban, based in Middle East
- Squads and Commanders are present, introduced are “Battalions” which consist of three to four squads.
- Five playable classes; Sniper, Assault, Engineer, Medic and Support
- Will feature 48 different vehicles (24 for each faction)
- Will feature 34 different weapons (17 for each faction) and another 22 unlocks (for both factions), in total 56 different weapons.
- Other unlocks include different types of ammunition, body armor, helmets, camouflage and accessories.

The fans have been discussing this for a year now, waiting for it, hoping for it. Instead of making THIS, this game of the century/millennium. They make a casual, pick up and play, cartoon shooters.

And if someone in DICE ever reads this, don't think this is just about you, I know you can. We've seen it with Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and Mirrors Edge. We know you can make exceptional games. This is also meant for EA, who is the one a lot of us really blame for this.

Sign up for this petition if you think Playstation is Playstation, Xbox is Xbox and that they should make a Battlefield 3 that really takes a step up from Battlefield 2, not other games that make the Battlefield-series crash and burn.

Don't forget that the players that puts the Battlefield-series in the top5 year, after year...
