Google has developed a Right-to-Left (RTL) button for Gmail, which enables users to write e-mails in languages that are written from right to left, such as Hebrew and Arabic. This is an important feature, as the alternative of using the Align Right button causes word and punctuation mark order to become garbled.
However, the feature is currently only available while using the Hebrew or Arabic versions of the Gmail interface.
We request that Google allow the use of the RTL button regardless of the interface language in use, thereby enabling us to write in our language of choice without forcing us to use a specific interface language, permanently or intermittently.
Such a change would not require much development or support effort on Googles behalf, and would make a vast difference in our user experience.
