Legalizing Hedgehogs in CA

To:  CA Fish and Game

This petition is for those who believe that Hedgehogs should be Legalized in California. The creature is considered a "exotic" and is illegal in many states because of their worry of the creature destroying the states environment. I believe that we have domesticated this animal enough that it would have little effect. To have a creature of this size would most likely be terminated if let loose like a small rat or cat. The fears the Fish and Game have with the hedgehog should be rethought. I also share the same respect towards Ferrets, but this petition is for Hedgehogs only in light of simplification.

As a reminder, this petition is for respectful pet owners. The hedgehog is a pet that should be respected like a family member and just the same for all pets, Hedgehogs ARE NOT TOYS.
