Free HEIKO BLEHER!!!!!!

On 29/08/2008 Brazilian authorities and IBAMA arrested Heiko Bleher and his wife while returning back from an expedition on some Black Water rivers on Araca,Jutai,Solimones and Demini.
The 'excuse' of this arrest was that Heiko was trying to 'smuggle' fish without a proper permit.
This is based on a new law of Brazilian government which along with the new law that every foreign Scientist that is working on Brazilian wildlife should be accompanied by a Brazilian scientist too, makes the exploration of Brazilian wildlife almost impossible.

Note that all the speciments that Heiko was carrying where in alcohol and formalin solution strictly for science.

Heiko is the greatest explorer of the century and all the humanity owes a lot to this GREAT man.

Currently is held and waiting for the court with limited access on phone so it is very difficult to contact him directly.

Signing this petition is the least we can do in order to 'protest' for this ridiculous arrest, but for sure IBAMA and Brazilian government should know that Heiko is NOT alone.

We owe many things to Heiko let's help him!
