It has been rumored that in Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7, they will continue to ignore the W3C's standards, specifically for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I agree that it is unacceptable for a company such as Microsoft to continue to write their own rules. While many other browsers such as Opera, the Mozilla Suite, and Firefox follow the standards and display web documents correctly, Microsoft has in the past, and could very well continue to ignore these rules in favor of their own proprietary ideas.
Microsoft does not own the internet and they should not act as if they do. I urge Microsoft to change their stance on Cascading Style Sheets and make their newest browser standards compliant.
