The Belgian governmentвs attempt to negate two and half decades of terror and cruelty and deny any other form of persecution in the brutal Islamic Republic of Iran is outrageous - especially in light of the recent policies of Iranian asylum seekers. Eager to build economic and political relations, the Belgian government has taken the racism and deception of its policy on Iranian asylum seekers. The torture, execution, and gender-apartheid capital of the world is effectively "safe" for political opponents, workers, women, youth, and children. It seems that in their Iran, "intellectuals, homosexuals and Bahaвis" only still runs the "risk" of persecution. Presumably, most of the thousands Iranians in central and regional "reception facilities" wonвt face such "risks."
We, the undersigned, in solidarity with 250 Iranain sit-inвstrikers in university of Brussel (ULB), condemn the inhuman situation and rightlessness of Iranian asylum seekers and refugee claimants in Belgium and the Belgian governmentвs treatment and performance vis-Г-vis thousands of refugees and claimants in Belgium.

We demand that the Belgian Parliament and governemt must:

1. Recgonise Islamic Republc of Iran as an вUnsafeв Country for all who fleeing there.

2. Recognise the undeniable right to asylum and perotection for those fleeing Iran especially women and children;

3. Immediately re-open and review all closed case files.

4. Provide basic living and health needs for asylum seekers and refugee claimants.
