To all the rational people of the world, and especially those who are ardent lovers of cinema -

Let us mark our protest against the shameless imprisonment of renowned Iranian film director Mr. Jafar Panahi on this platform by giving whatever comments that we can, in our own ways...by being vocal..by spreading this news of utter disgrace among our relatives and friends , by sharing ideas to further our protest and compel the barbaric Iranian Government to release Jafar unconditionally.

Jafar is also being barred from making films for 20 years. Let us all join our hands and raise our voices against this fascist decision. Let us write articles, letters to various dailies, make short films, organize processions to free our beloved Jafar Panahi from the shackles of this tyranny.
