The Island of Lost Souls (1932), based on H.G. Wells "The Island of Doctor Moreau" is a classic motion picture that needs to be restored and given a DVD release with extra features. The movie was directed by Erle C. Kenton (Pardon my Sarong(1942), House of Frankenstein(1944)) and starred Charles Laughton, Richard Arlen and Bela Lugosi. Originally produced by Paramount, the distribution rights currently reside with Universal Studios. We ask that Universal Studios pay this film the respect that it deserves and give it a restoration so new generations of film fans can enjoy it.
