You are a major national, exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in North America contributing to the betterment of the Muslim community and society at large. You have supported and been involved with the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH). You aspire to keep Islamic centers true to the Islamic purpose for which they were established.

I am writing to ask you to take a stand against injustice within the Muslim community of Houston, Texas. Some Imams are hindered and not given due respect, authority and adequate freedom to fulfill their religious resposibilities and perform their duties. The Islamic Society of Greater Houston is a great organization that is being undermined by a few within their leadership. A dedicated Imam who has served the community a decade with dedication and who is the target of Immigration for deportation is unjustly smeared by a few in leadership positions. These few have exhibited blatant disregard for basic Islamic values, ISGH by-laws and have broken their oath of office.

I ask you to get involved to correct the situation and support the Houston Justice for Muslims movement to stop and reverse the injustices.
