SAVE IMPULSE! |
To:To whom it may concern,
It has come to the attention of Impulse fans all over that the popular IMPULSE comic book will be cancelled shortly. Naturally, we felt we had to do something about that. This petition is being written to give the fans of IMPULSE a chance to make their voices heard.
In THE FLASH (Vol. 2) issue #92, the world of comics was given a new character. His name was Bart Allen, grandson of the second Flash, Barry Allen. He came from the 30th century with an impulsive attitude (hence the name), due to spending his life up 'til then in virtual reality. His grandmother, Iris Allen, freed him and brought him to the 20th century, in hopes that her nephew, Wally West (who was now the Flash), could help him. He succeeded. Nine months later, Impulse got his very own comic book, written by then-FLASH-scribe Mark Waid, and drawn by Humberto Ramos.
Since then, IMPULSE has gained a large fan following, and has become a popular comic among those who read it. Bart Allen, as well as his enormous supporting cast who we would probably never get to see again, have become some of our favorite characters in all of comics.
This petition is being written to save IMPULSE. We are dedicated, and we would hate to see one of our favorite comics come off the shelf. Thank you.Sincerely,
