Jaides LTD is a well established and successful performing arts school in Rugby, Warwickshire, which is run by Jaide and Sandra Ellery, they have been running the school now for over nine years and the students have achieved a great many successes.
The school has won numerous awards including "Business of the year 2008" and accreditations from regulatory bodies. They are also now a registered charity (no 1124316) offering free places to various children within the community, including under privileged, the disadvantaged, low academic achievers, children whose parents receive low incomes, special needs and the black and ethnic minorities.
Recently they have been informed that they are creating a "statutory noise nuisance" (even though its after 5pm, once the surrounding businesses have closed) and they have been informed that there is every likelihood that they will be issued with a "noise abatement notice" to which they intend to appeal. This appeal is to be heard in court in front of a magistrate, who will decide whether this notice is justified. If this notice is justified not only will the buisness and charity be fined up to пї20,000 it will also greatly restrict their operating hours which would result in the closure of the school.
We are urgently appealing for our community's support to keep this school going for the whole community and also for the future of our children.
