Bring Bon Jovi's Lost Highway Tour to Giants Stadium (summer '08)

This is for all the Bon Jovi fans who feel as though the Lost Highway tour finale in NYC is a gigantic slap in the face; and for all you that feel that Bon Jovi's complete absence of shows in NJ on the Lost Highway tour is the greatest letdown in the band's 25 year existence.

"We always end every tour at Giants Stadium, but we're going to do Central Park this year," he told SI.COM. "That hasn't been announced yet," he said. "There you go: we're doing Central Park."***

Jon Bon Jovi gave no reasoning as to why he would not play in NJ, and that is the only statement he offered. As we know, Bon Jovi has always been an advocate of putting on the BEST possible show for his fans. How is a concet for over 500,000 people beneficial to ANY fan?

The date for this show is not yet confirmed, yet rumors place it on July 12th, 2008. For all of you that are unaware, that is the week of the MLB All Star game, taking place at Yankee Stadium. IMAGINE how many tourists will flock to a Bon Jovi concert in Central Park? WHY would any local fans want to camp out for DAYS in a sometimes dangerous Central Park (especially with no crowd control), fight unruly crowds, and be absolutely packed together like sardines; all in the hot, humid, sweltering, and stifiling NYC summer air as we are all accustomed to??
Instead, an ORGANIZED, FRIENDLY-ATMOSPHERED, show at Giants Stadium is a much BETTER ALTERNATIVE.
