To:  U.S. Congress

To the Honorably Elected,

We the people of the United States of America, from all political parties, backgrounds, and cultural beliefs, believe that the United States Congress should discuss an Impeachment process of President George W. Bush for deliberately giving the American public, the U.S. Congress, and our allies abroad false information about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The false statements given by President Bush to our elected officials, the United Nations, and to the American public were words to encourage Americans and the international community to move towards war with Iraq. Congress approved of the war in Iraq, and passed war spending legislations which have cost our country billions of dollars. Many American lives have been lost due to the false accusations of WMD in Iraq by Bush. Our war effort in Iraq has been costly for our country in Iraq and at home. Because of Bush's push for war, the citizens of the United States are threatened by a new breed of terrorists that are enraged of our country's occupation in Iraq.

We are now responsible for years of war into other presidents' terms in office because of Bush's lack of the truth. We have not found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. We will have many more thousand troops put their lives on the line for our country because of a president's false accusations. He has stretched the patience of our country's strongest allies. The leaders of our allies have been vastly scrutinized by their home countries. Bush has made foreign affairs more difficult for our country for many years because of his lies. Our country, which has thrived economically because of our allies around, has lost the respect of our global friends, which will also induce economic hardships in the future for our country. Our relationships with other countries around the world have now been tarnished by our leader's deceit.

Our mission is NOT accomplished when it comes to the war in Iraq contrary to the belief of Bush's speech on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, in which a sign behind the President stated "Mission Accomplished" after the defeat of Iraqi regime. George W. Bush's mission was accomplished when he coaxed the American public and U.S. Congress into war with a non-threatening country. If Iran is one of Bush's Axis of Evil countries, then why are we ignoring their constant public shows of nuclear threats. The same goes toward North Korea. Why have we stretched our military thin in an unjust war in Iraq when we have visible enemies elsewhere. It seems George W. Bush is finishing the presidency of his father, and has sacrificed his country in doing so.

The citizens of the United States of America hope you, our elected officials, listen to the voices which have put you in office. Put party lines behind you, and your country's future in front you.

Thank You,
The American Public

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
